CUPE 2450 represents:
School District 10 & the Village of Nakusp.
The Village of Nakusp (VoN) is comprised of four (4) different departments, Administration, Public Works, Arena Parks and The Nakusp Hot Springs. Union Workers provide the Village of Nakusp with safe drinking water and sanitary systems, cemetery services, well maintained parks and playgrounds, accessible recreation facilities and administrative services.
School District 10 (SD10) is responsible for our community education system in Edgewood, Burton, Nakusp and New Denver. Union workers provide maintenance, custodial, student support services, strong start and early learning support services, transportation, administrative services and ground maintenance.
CUPE Local 2450 acknowledges that we are on the Traditional, Ancestral and Unceded Territories of the Sinixt on whose territory we work, live and meet today. We honour our Elders past, present and future.
